Audience, Format, and Content of Technical Report

Sequence, Shape, and Style of Document

  • Outlining (topic outline, sentence outline)
  • Headings and subheadings (different styles)

Writing the Body of Reports

  • Sentence and paragraph structure
  • Other techniques of developing the body (Description of a process, Description of a mechanism, Technical definition)
