Level 4 Diploma In Paralegal Studies

The Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies is an accredited, bespoke Paralegal qualification for those looking to follow a paralegal career. The course presumes no prior knowledge of the law and is designed to provide a sound knowledge and understanding of the English Legal System and the fundamental principles relating to practice in England and Wales as well as covering various procedural law areas common in general legal practice.

The course is entirely distance learning, with comprehensive course materials for all 10 units for learners to study from. As well as a years affiliate membership of the NALP.

The course is divided into 10 units of study, with a single assignment for each unit. Successful completion of all 10 units is required to receive your diploma.

The units are as follows;

Module 1 - General Principles of Law 
Unit 1 - English Legal System (7 Credits)
Unit 2 - The Law of Contract (7 Credits)
Unit 3 - The Law of Tort (7 Credits)
Unit 4 - Criminal Law (7 Credits)
Unit 5 - Wills, Intestacy and Family Provision (5 Credits)

Module 2 - Procedural Law
Unit 6 - Civil Litigation (4 Credits)
Unit 7 - Criminal Practice (4 Credits)
Unit 8 - Matrimonial and Civil Partnership Law and Practice (4 Credits)
Unit 9 - Conveyancing (4 Credits)
Unit 10 - Succession (4 Credits)

Learners have 2 years to complete the course, however we believe it can be completed within 10-14 months. This allows for students to study around there other commitments.
