This three-day lecture and hands-on workshop aim to provide the participants with the basic aesthetic and technical tools needed in producing their own music videos. By the end of the class, participants must be able to make a music video — from conceptualization, to shooting, to basic editing.

Who should attend

This workshop is open for anyone who want to make music videos or want to gain additional knowledge to help improve their video production skills.

Prerequisite

No shooting and editing skills are required but participants who have completed PCCI’s Digital Video Production workshop, or have equivalent experience is a plus.

What to bring

Participants who have their own digital camcorders are encouraged to bring them to class.

Speaker/s

Valentin “Nani” Naguit

Nani is a Film and Audiovisual Communication graduate of the University of the Philippines. He directed music videos from ballads done by Karylle, Erik Santos, Regine Velasquez, Jennylyn Mercado to pop videos by Kyla, Christian Bautista, Sam Concepcion, and Zia Quizon.

He has worked with celebrities such as Angel Locsin, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Enrique Gil, Heart Evangelista, Billy Crawford, Vhong Navarro, and Alodia Gosiengfiao.

Nani has also directed advertising projects for clients such as Tang, Cadbury, Globe, Shell, Rexona, Oishi, Knorr, Davies Paints, Champion Detergent and TFC.
