The holiday season is in the air, so if you're looking for something different to give as gifts or to sell for extra cash, here's an idea: cupcakes!
CCS Bakeshop and Cake Decorating School, in partnership with SpeedyCourse.com.ph, will be holding "A Day of Cupcakes at CCS", a hands-on cupcake workshop, on November 28, 2015, Saturday, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Learn how to make Red Velvet Cupcake, Super Moist Dark Chocolate Cupcake, and Kahlua Coffee Cupcake recipes that are perfect as gifts or products for a home business. You will also learn about Creative Designs Applications, Freestyle Cupcake Decoration, and Packaging and Takeout Recommendations. The instructors for this workshop are Ms. Tami and Ms. Tess, the in-house duo instructors of CCS signature Cupcakes Series.
To make the workshop more fun, there will also be a team competition for best-tasting cupcakes and best design, followed by cupcake tasting with free coffee and drinks. Members of the winning team will each take home a Wilton piping bag!
Certificates will be given at the end of the workshop.
Tank tops & slippers are not allowed inside the baking school.

Avelina Carbungco Florendo, a reassuring teacher and a very creative artist.
Avelina owns CCS Bakeshop and Cake Decorating school at 91 - 8th Avenue Cubao, Quezon City, where she teaches with her daughter in law Ma-ai Florendo, and grandson - Emmanuel "Flo" Florendo. Here she shares the techniques she learned from the seminars and classes she attends in different countries like England, Canada, Australia, Italy, France , US and many others. Almost all the teachers, bakers, cake decorators and baking enthusiasts in the country has been her student. She has been teaching cake decorating and other sugarcrafts for the past 40 years and has authored 4 books in cake decorating, the first cake decorating series published in the Philippines.
Her foreign students come from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Africa, Guam, Brunei, Japan, USA, Canada, Australia and many more.
