BASIC ANIMATION WORKSHOP

This beginning animation course exposes students to the range of traditional techniques used in 2-D animation. Students learn basic theory and mechanics behind animation, develop observational and drawing skills and study the fundamental principles of character design, basic animation, lip synching and basic storyboarding.

NEEDED MATERIALS

Plastic envelope for drawings ( with thickness)
steadler pencil : B, 2B, 3B
Rubber eraser
ruler, Light Colored pencils ( 3 pcs )
(Animation paper provided by Top Peg Studio )

Certificate of completion will be given upon completion of the workshop.

Outline

BASIC ANIMATION OUTLINE:

Character Drawing
Character Dialogue
Animation ( walk, run etc )
Basic storyboard
Linetest of animated works

OPTION CLASS :

COMPUTER PAINT AND EDITING

(1 week or 7 days, 3 hours per day )
This is for materials that class participants learn and the Basic animation Class
how to color their own works and make a short video
Scan and paint using a software
Edit and prepare works for video
Output to CD/ DVD

NEEDED MATERIALS :

Scanned materials from the Basic Drawing Class
( DVD/ CD will be provided by Top Peg Studio )
