ABOUT MANILA INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATED LEARNING CENTER
(MIILC)
MIILC is an internship auxiliary service provider that links higher education institutions (HEIs) with learning institutions and internship sites outside of the Philippines.
In collaboration with our international partners, we have designed internship programs, which aims to effectively prepare student trainees for significant roles in the global hospitality industry. Our approach to fostering students into becoming qualified
professionals has resulted to graduates highly sought by employers here and abroad.
In early 2015, we have started a one-year Study and Work Program in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in partnership with Sheffield Academy. This program is designed for Filipino students, high school and college graduates, and career shifters who wish to pursue
a Diploma in Hospitality plus one year simultaneous work experience in hospitality industry.
MIILC partners only with institutions, hospitality establishments and industry professionals, who have appropriate training and facilities, and who share our mission to fully equip Filipino students for employment anywhere in the world by granting opportunities
to expand their knowledge, gain first-hand experience of work in hospitality, and improve their readiness to assume roles as managers.

- To forge solid partnerships with leading hotels abroad, so as to provide internship programs that will be beneficial to the students, the educational institution and the hotel itself.

- To position institutions of higher education in the Philippines as a preferred partner of equivalent institutions from other countries by establishing student exchange programs.

1. National Internship
Internship placement of students through our local industry partners. This program is a school monitored and hotel based on-the-job training accorded by prestigious hotels in Metro Manila. This program pledges to bring students theoretical and practical
expertise in the various facets of HRM, Tourism, and Culinary Arts. Exposure to global hotel best practices; working within a diverse environment; promotion of passion for excellence; and encouragement of independence during the program.
2. Study and Work Program in Malaysia
This program helps students land a job while enjoying the opportunity of furthering their studies. This course has been designed by industry experts and is primarily for people already working in the hospitality industry who are seeking to step up
to management role. It would also be suitable for new entrants looking to break into the dynamic field of hospitality management. Prepare for a career in the dynamic hospitality industry, which employs hundreds of thousands of people across the world.
3. Language Tutorial Program
We provide effective language tutorial classes for following:
- English
- French
- Mandarin
- Nihongo
4. Food Safety Training and Examination System
This is in partnership with FoodSHAP, the first training provider in the Philippines specialized only in Food Safety & Hygiene training for Food Handlers in Catering and Retail. It is recognized by the Department of Health (DOH) and Chartered Institute
of Environmental Health (CIEH) in the United Kingdom (UK).
Our goal is to strengthen the implementation of the training requirements under the Food Safety Act of 2013 with the support of our team and their professional expertise in Food Safety, Environmental Health, Food Microbiology, Education, and Management.
4. Educational Tour Package
To keep students training responsive and relevant, there must be closer linkage between the world of learning and the world of work.
