ACT (American College Testing)
- ACT (American College Testing) is an American college entrance exams with SAT, administered by the parent company of the GAC program operated by this VERITASU Education Center. You can take the test twice a year in our school. For more information, click the button at the bottom.
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
- This is a test for high school students to go to American universities. The SAT revised since 2016 has a total score of 1600 out of a total of 800 Critical Reading and 800 Math Mathematics.
- SAT is an official English language test that is higher than TOEFL and is required not only for admission to American universities but also for international universities.
Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT)
- Most prestigious schools in the United States or above a certain level require a Secondary School Admisson Test (SSAT) as part of their admission requirements.
- SSAT is a test that evaluates the student's academic ability, unlike the school that evaluates achievement. It is a standard for judging the potential academic ability of the student apart from the school record. It is composed of high school
teachers, university professors in USA, SSATB (Secondary School Admisson Test Board) which supervises SSAT and ETS specialists who manage TOEFL.
The SSAT is divided into the Upper Level Test and the Lower Level Test. The Upper Level Test is for non-native students and it is used for entering the 9th or 10th grades. The Lower Level Test is for the 7th or 8th grade. - SSAT consists of four subjects: Writing, Verbal, Quantitative, and Reading Comprehension.
Most Korean students receive high marks in the mathematics section, but because they score significantly lower marks in the composition or vocabulary section, it is desirable to spend a lot of time and improve their scores steadily.
