YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID webinar

According to WHO, one in eight people globally are living with mental health conditions, which can impact their physical health, their well-being, how they connect with others, and their livelihoods. Mental health conditions are also affecting an increasing number of adolescents and young people.
Training goal:
To introduce participants to adolescents’ developmental stages, mental health, and well-being, and to learn effective first aid strategies in handling child/youth behavioral problems. At the end of the training, the participants are expected to:
1. Identify the physical, cognitive, and socioemotional changes of adolescents.
2. Detect mental health problems, and be able to respond appropriately.
3. Use strategies to promote adolescents’ healthy well-being.
