Mental Health Awareness Training is a 1-day training (Saturday only) that discusses the content of RA No. 11036 Mental Health Act and DOLE DO No. 208-20 Guidelines for the Implementation of Mental Health Workplace Policies and Programs for the Private Sector. The training is conducted in Taglish, a combination of Tagalog and English.

Outline
Mental Health Awareness Training is open to all companies and individuals, professionals, safety officers interested to learn underestand Republick Act No. 11036 or the Mental Health Act. The objective of this learning activity
is for participants and companies to develop their Mental Health Policy and or Program to protect its workers, both executive and those in the ranks. Consequently, the company will be able to comply with Mandatory Occupational Health Program spelled out under
DOLE Department Order No. 198-18. No requirement to join this learning activity.
Mental health awareness refers to the understanding and recognition of mental health conditions, as well as the actions taken to promote mental well-being. This can include educating the public about the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions,
reducing the stigma associated with seeking help, and providing resources and support for those who need it. Mental health awareness also includes promoting healthy coping mechanisms, such as exercise, self-care, and social support, and encouraging early intervention
for those who may be experiencing mental health challenges.
