Mikrotik Basic Training Course (MT101)

This Mikrotik basic training course is  designed and offered to people who want to know the fundamental or the core features of Mikrotik Router without a need to spend more money for its certification.

Many of us who never used Mikrotik RouterOS before, will find it difficult to configure Mikrotik router at the beginning, because its application is totally different from standard routers in the market.

With this training, you will familiarize yourself with its Winbox application and learn on how to configure those core features that you might use in your office or internet cafe or internet hotspot environment.

So... if you know nothing on Mikrotik, however, you have a knowledge in I.T. networking, you understand IP addresses and subnetting, then, let this course be your starting point in learning Mikrotik... we are sure that you will appreciate Mikrotik more, and eventually, you will like Mikrotik more and more ^_^.

Lately, we have turned 180 degree to improve our training, we have made the training easier to understand, we put a step-by-step guide in our MT101 handbook. What are the minimum and maximum participants in the training?

Each training course will need a minimum number of 3 people and maximum of 12 people. If ever, there is lack of participants, we will need to reschedule the training date.

For a training with less than 5 participants, we will do it in our office.

Our class size actually can accommodate more than 12 participants, but due to difficulty in training high number of people. We decided to have maximum 12 people only for better training quality.

With low student-trainer ratio, participants can expect hgher trainer assistance, better interaction and discussion between trainer and participants, higher percentage of individual attention, better understanding, less noise and disruption.

NOTE: We do not include basic network introduction anymore. This is to maximize the training time focusing on mikrotik configuration training only. In the training material, we inserted IP address and subnetting topic in the appendix section. This is for reference only.

For an accommodation, please add P500 for an overnight stay in the dormitory of Siena College.
