A family of archery enthusiast, with its adoration of the famous Mahabharata and the story told about Arjuna and celestial bow Gandiva. They put up the first ever archery store lasted 2008, located in SM Mall of Asia. Primarily the shop was in support to archery being an Olympic sport and DepEd’s efforts to promote the bow and arrow athletics on a grass-root level. In 2008, Gandiva worked hand in hand with the Department of Education by giving Armory Clinics in different regional meets. With combined efforts, Gandiva was able to orient coaches and archers nationwide with the variety of archery equipment. To date, Gandiva has reached out to 14 regions. 67 provinces and 29 municipalities/cities. It has hosted different events namely:
- The 3rd Asian Grand Prix
- South East Asian Championships
- 1st Highlander Invitational Archery Tournament
- Pasig Summer Sports Clinic
- The Manila Polo Club Archery Open
Gandiva became a major sponsor of the Palarong Pambansa. It is an act to show our serious commitment to the government efforts to bring into focus the bow and arrow sports, intrinsic to the Filipino culture.
