Adobe After Effects CC Advanced

So you know how to use After Effects. Now it’s time to take your skills to the next level. This advanced workshop will further unlock After Effects’ arsenal of tricks and will have you creating magic in no time. Not for the faint hearted, this is Jedi training at its best!

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to use the more advanced tools in the After Effects arsenal. You’ll also get to know the new features in the CC version of the software.

This intensive hands-on course is for After Effects users, who want to take advantage of the the software’s more advanced features, to create attention-grabbing motion graphics and stunning visual effects.

Participants should have working knowledge of After Effects. Ideally, students will have attended the Adobe After Effects: Beginner to Intermediate course, or have equivalent experience.

Working knowledge of Photoshop is also recommended.

Robert, the director of Dayo (the Philippines’ first all-digital full length animated film), is a partner and director at Cutting Edge Productions. He is both an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), and the country’s first and only Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) in After Effects (CS5, CS6, and CC).

Robert was previously the head of On-air Promotions at MTV Philippines, and prior to that, the on-air graphics and post-production manager of the Integrated News and Current Affairs Creative Imaging Department of ABS-CBN. He was also the director of two weekly programs at ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC).

A Fine Arts graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Robert started his broadcast design career in 1993 with the Associated Broadcasting Company (ABC 5). This award-winning broadcast designer has worked with numerous nonlinear-editing workstations, and 2D and 3D animation programs.

Since joining PCCI’s faculty more than a decade ago, Robert has taught over 60 After Effects classes, both basic and advanced.
