The Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS), Is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to its mission of providing total satisfaction to its students through continuous research and excellent culinary training. The Center
envisions to be the best culinary school in the Philippines. Currently, the Center is operated by the country’s top chefs and food and beverage industry consultants: Gene Gonzalez, Junjun De Guzman and Gino Gonzalez, who through their long years of culinary
and baking experience and attendance to cooking and baking schools worldwide has been able to formulate an innovative concept in culinary education.
It is the only culinary school with its own restaurant that has been multi-awarded. Students are taken into the restaurant for internship training before they are sent for externship in their chosen hotels and restaurants. CACS also teaches the use of the
hospitality software system used around the world. As a graduate, you will find the CACS will not only train you professionally, but will help open doors to a myriad of culinary careers.
CACS offers a full range of courses in cooking, bread and pastry, wine, health nutrition, chocolate artistry and food business management. For students who wish to pursue a career in the culinary arts, professional chef-training programs are available using
the best-equipped classrooms in the country with modern, state-of-the-art equipment from Europe and the United States.
The Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) is devoted to bringing the best out of every student, by providing them with the best tools, the best ingredients and the best foundation in the country.
The Center is accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), a government institution in the Philippines that formulates manpower and skills plans, sets appropriate skills standards and tests, coordinates and monitors manpower
policies and programs, and provides policy directions and guidelines for resource allocation for the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions in both the private and public sectors. Today, all CACS is a destination for TESDA’s training
and assessment for Cookery NC II, Commercial Cooking III, Commercial Cooking NC IV, Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Food Beverage Services NC IV.
CACS professional Program became a diploma course, which is recognized in the biggest institutions in the Philippines. Today, the Center’s Chef Trainers are all NC II, NC III, NC IV and NTTC Holders of Cookery, Commercial Cooking, Bread and Pastry Production
and Food and Beverage Services. Professional Program has the NC II, NC III & NC IV Certification.
